More specifically, this Policy applies to all personal data that you share when visiting the website www.raise-sherpas.co and using the various online services we offer. These services are aimed at a professional audience, primarily composed of entrepreneurs and investors related to the mission of the RAISESHEPRAS Endowment Fund, the first philanthropic accelerator dedicated to French startups.

The RAISE SHERPAS Foundation acts as the data controller for the processing activities carried out on your personal data, for which it determines the purposes and means of implementation.
We collect and process your personal data to meet various needs:
- Data for Responding to Your Information Requests : You can contact us via the Contact form available on our website. The form collects your contact details so that our team can get back to you via email or phone. All fields are mandatory to facilitate contact by the team you have selected.
- Data to Get to Know You Better and Manage Our Relationship : Raise Sherpas invites young startups seeking funding to contact our team. To initiate the relationship, we invite you to complete a form by providing some initial information, helping us better prepare for the contact. To keep track of our exchanges and essential information about you and your projects, our teams record this data in our CRM. This allows us to streamline our interactions, get to know you better, and provide you with the most suitable proposals and projects.
- Data to Send You Our Newsletter : We collect data for those who wish to receive our newsletter, which provides information about RAISE SHERPAS activities.
- Data for Event Management : RAISE regularly organizes professional events, which we promote through various communication channels, including sending invitations to potential professional contacts. As part of this process, and during your registration for events of your choice, we process the following data: first name, last name, company/employer, position, email, and your responses to one or more optional questions designed to understand your expectations related to the event.
- Data to Secure the Newsletter Form with reCAPTCHA : At the end of the newsletter subscription form, you are asked to certify that you are not a robot by ticking a checkbox. This feature is a system designed to distinguish humans from malicious robots and protect against various abuses.
- Data to Analyze Visitor Navigation (Collected via Cookies Set by Google Ad Products) : Data is collected by RAISE SHERPAS and its partner Google through cookies placed on your device during your visit. The data thus collected serves different purposes, some essential for the proper functioning of the website, others optional but helpful for optimizing the online services offered by RAISE SHERPAS and its partners. Information on purposes and cookie partners is detailed via the Cookies link accessible at the bottom of the website page. This cookie management interface also allows visitors to change their cookie preferences at any time.

- "Funding Search" Form: Name, first name, email address, company name and URL, launch date, revenue, fundraising history, pitch deck attachment.
- Newsletter Form: Email address, first name, last name, profile, reCAPTCHA.
- reCAPTCHA: IP address, Google cookies (< 6 months), number of clicks made, JavaScript objects of the page, duration of site visit, user mouse movements.
- Website Visit: IP address, browser type, operating system, referral website, browsing behavior.
We may share your data with various recipient profiles:
- Data may be used by the RAISE SHERPAS team responsible for delivering the requested service (customer service, commercial service, HR service, etc.).
- Data may be transmitted to subcontractors hired by our company to provide services within the scope of the purposes mentioned above, such as:

We have determined retention periods for personal data that do not exceed the time necessary to achieve the processing purposes for which they were collected.
- Useful data for managing the relationship between startups and investors is kept for the duration of the contractual relationship.
- Data useful for our email marketing/newsletter communications is retained for up to 6 years after the end of a customer contract or for 3 years from the last interaction for prospects.
We apply technical and organizational measures to ensure the security of your data against loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, modification, or destruction.
